First Views of Madrid

Mid August is when I arrived in sunny Spain and of course I couldn't wait to start my adventure with my camera right beside me.

We took a walk around the area of Tribunal- a place which is still a favourite of mine. It's a place with creativity bursting through it seams with it's copious amount of graffiti, street art, perfectly designed independent shops, bars, restaurants, clubs and people that evidently share their creativity with the city.

Hello!

I have finally decide to set up my Madrid blog, only five months later than I originally planned to. But better late than never, surely?

I've been busy making my banner, thinking of posts to put up (probably a lot of posts about what I've done before this blog) and soaking up the Spanish lifestyle!

I'm a Media Production student on an Erasmus study year abroad, which means I have come to Madrid (along with another 106 Coventry University students) to take a try at their university here. So far I have been loving it! Although last term I didn't actually study any modules related to my course at home, I learnt a lot and really enjoyed learning something different to what I've been studying for the last five years.

My University is absolutely beautiful, a lot better than the sore state of my building in Coventry! So far whilst being here I've eaten way too much tapas, been to more galleries than I ever have- ever, spent a lot of time on buses and metros, been to my first football game, had my 21st Birthday and spent a lot of money with not much to show.

Expect lots of photographs, a couple of videos, some diary posts and probably a whole load of pointlessness!
